Information for Study Unit Affiliation

ATA Services for Affiliate Study Units:

Free reviews of its publication in Topical Time, the bimonthly journal of the ATA
Free web listing on the ATA web site
A group on Stamping Ground
Free publicity in ATA literature, press releases, at stamp shows around the country and to new ATA members
A free meeting room during the annual Great American Stamp Show held at various venues around the country

ATA Affiliated Study Units are encouraged to:

Promote ATA membership among its members (in study unit publication and on website)
Publicize ATA publications such as handbooks, DVDs, checklists and Topical Time Archives.

To qualify to become a study unit, and affiliate with the ATA, the group must have at least ten ATA members, an official set of by-laws and be willing to file an annual report with the ATA.

To apply, submit the request for unit affiliation form to the ATA Study Unit Coordinator, along with a copy of the by-laws and a membership list denoting ATA members. One of these members should be designated the study unit's official representative to the ATA.
