ATA OFFERS FREE SERVICE DIRECTORIES
The American Topical Association has created an updated Service
Directory, which it is making available at no cost to collectors.
The new Directory lists the names and addresses of all of the
elected and appointed officers as well as the ten Service Directors.
Service Directors are responsible for the special offerings of the
American Topical Association to members and include Directors of
Chapters, checklists services, claims services, Distinguished
Topical Philatelists, judges accreditation, slide/lecture programs,
Study Units and affiliates, topical awards, translation services,
and youth activities.
Additionally, the Service Directory
lists in detail each of the 51 Study Units of the ATA, along with
the names of their publications, the costs of membership and contact
information. The definitions of both Study Units and Chapters are
given to help reduce any confusion between these two divergent
groups. The addresses of all thirty-two Chapters of the association
are also included.
Another section lists the titles of
all ATA Topical Handbooks that are still in print, along with their
prices and costs of shipping. Instructions for those who may be
thinking of submitting new Handbook drafts are given followed by the
ATA Code of Ethics
This informative handbook is available
for a Self-addressed stamped envelope. For unfolded copies send a 6”
X 9” envelope with 49 cents postage. For folded copies send a #10
(business sized) envelope with 37 cents postage to ATA Directory –
