• Up to 20 words noting the story to be told
• Perhaps include a philatelic item also used later
• Even a non-philatelic item may be used without penalty (note reference earlier about competitive exhibits needing to abide by rules of the exhibit, and non-philatelic items are frowned up in competition)
• Even an unusual philatelic item—to impress the judges—may be included
