Concise requires you to measure every word as if you are paying handsomely
for its use. Admittedly, it is difficult to pare your own words, but learn
to do it … and, to do it ruthlessly.
Correct specifically refers to converting technical to non-technical
terminology. Don’t gloss over to the point where your writing is
inaccurate or, nearly as bad, fuzzy. Also, use more than one information
source when at all possible.
If, after all the paring you can do, the write-up still appears too long
for an album page, chunk it! That is, break it into two or three pieces
for placement on the page. This move allows you to use the critical information
while making the text itself design elements.
