Stamp Booklets

Luxembourg produced the first stamp booklet in 1895, although privately produced booklets were produced in the United States as early as 1887 and in Great Britain four years later. With booklets came the opportunity for governmental promotional messages and commercial advertising on the booklet covers or interleaving or se-tenant labels required to fill out a complete pane.
